The Phoenicia Malta is an iconic 1920s-style hotel located at the gateway to Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the capital city of Malta. It offers an unparalleled setting for both leisure and business travellers. The hotel holds the distinction of being the only Leading Hotel of the World in Malta and is the first 5-star luxury hotel in Malta. It has a proud reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences that bring to life the rich heritage and culture of the Maltese Islands. The Phoenicia Malta boasts an ideal location for attracting tourists as it commands glorious views from its elevated position overlooking both Marsamxett and the Grand Harbour, and the historic city dating back to 1566. It is within walking distance of the island's shopping and business districts, as well as the bustling restaurants and cafes of the waterfront. Directly opposite the hotel is the impressive Parliament House building, designed by Renzo Piano. The hotel's typical Maltese architectural style is considered one of the sights of Malta and offers a striking contrast to the baroque and massive bastion walls that surround Valletta. Its gardens lead to the beautiful Bastion Pool set against the majestic Bastions with an infinity pool overlooking Marsamxett Harbour. The hotel is considered the perfect destination to experience all that the Maltese Islands have to offer. Nearby attractions include St. John's Co-Cathedral, the Grand Masters Palace, and the Auberge de Castille. The Phoenicia Malta offers 132 elegant rooms and suites featuring traditional Maltese tiled floors and large double-glazed windows. It boasts award-winning dining restaurants such as Contessa including the conservatory. One can enjoy a cocktail at the Club Bar or an afternoon tea in the Palm Court Lounge. Guests can also enjoy the Phoenicia Spa and Wellness including an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, and fitness centre. Also guests can relax in our 7. 5 acres of pristine gardens.
